Hands-free, disciplined futures scalping. On your account.
ScalpX trades micro-futures on your TopstepX account with strict, rule-based risk management — so emotions never touch your orders. Every entry is bracket-protected before it hits the market.
No credit card. Unlimited paper trading. You only ever pay from profits.
From API key to first scalp in minutes
No installs, no VPS, no code. Connect once and ScalpX runs your rules with machine consistency.
Connect your account
Link your TopstepX / ProjectX account with a read-and-trade API key. Your key is encrypted at rest and never grants withdrawal access — it can only place and manage orders.
Pick market & risk limits
Choose your instrument — MES, MNQ, and more — then set your daily loss cut-off, max trades, and session window. Sensible Topstep-friendly defaults come pre-loaded.
It scalps automatically
ScalpX watches the tape and executes bracket-protected orders — entry, stop, and target submitted together. You watch the equity curve; the bot does the clicking.
Trend-aligned pullback scalping, explained in plain language
No black box. ScalpX runs one transparent, time-tested playbook on 1-minute bars — and it never improvises.
-
Trade with the trend, never against itAn EMA trend filter decides direction and a VWAP bias check confirms it. If price is below VWAP in a downtrend, ScalpX only looks for shorts — and vice versa.
-
Enter on the pullback, timed by RSIInstead of chasing breakouts, the bot waits for price to pull back within the trend, then uses RSI timing to enter as momentum resumes.
-
ATR-sized stops and targets on every orderStops and targets scale with current volatility, so a quiet morning and a wild CPI day are risk-sized differently — automatically.
-
Time-based exitsA scalp that goes nowhere is dead capital. If a trade hasn't worked within its window, ScalpX flattens it and moves on.
Guardrails first. Profits second.
ScalpX is built around the rules that keep funded accounts funded. Every limit below is enforced by the engine — not by willpower.
Daily loss cut-off
Hit your daily limit and ScalpX flattens everything and stands down until tomorrow. Designed to keep you comfortably inside Topstep's daily loss rules.
Max trades per day
A hard ceiling on trade count. Overtrading is the classic account-killer; the bot literally cannot do it.
Consecutive-loss cooldown
A losing streak triggers an automatic timeout. No revenge trading — the engine steps away so you don't have to.
Session windows
Trade only when your edge is live — for example, the first two hours of the US session. Outside the window, ScalpX is flat by design.
Paper mode first
Run the exact same engine on simulated fills for as long as you like, free. Go live only when the numbers convince you.
Topstep-rule friendly
Limits map cleanly onto evaluation and funded-account rules: daily loss, consistency, and no overnight positions. Set them tighter than the prop rules and let the engine hold the line.
You keep 90%. We only win when you do.
High-water mark billing: we only take a share of profits above your previous peak. If you draw down, you pay nothing until you've fully recovered — you never pay twice on the same gains.
- Free, unlimited paper trading — full engine, simulated fills, forever
- No subscription, no seat fee, no lock-in — disconnect any time
- Losing month? You owe $0. Our revenue exists only when your equity makes a new high
Versus a typical $150/mo bot subscription
- ✕They collect $1,800 a year whether you profit or not
- ✕Their incentive is to keep you subscribed, not profitable
- ✓ScalpX earns nothing until your account does — every dollar we make means you made nine
Straight answers
Is my API key safe?
Your key is encrypted at rest, transmitted only over TLS, and used exclusively to read market data and place or manage orders on your behalf. TopstepX/ProjectX API keys cannot move money — there is no withdrawal capability to expose. You can revoke the key from your broker dashboard at any moment, which instantly cuts off all access.
Can I lose money?
Yes. Honestly and unavoidably: futures trading involves substantial risk, and no strategy — automated or human — wins every day. What ScalpX guarantees is not profit but discipline: every trade carries a stop from the moment it's placed, and your daily loss cut-off, trade ceiling, and cooldown rules cap how bad any single day can get. Start in paper mode and only go live with limits you're genuinely comfortable losing.
Does it work with Topstep evaluation and funded accounts?
ScalpX connects to any account reachable through the TopstepX/ProjectX API, including evaluation (Trading Combine) and funded accounts. Its risk limits are designed to be set inside Topstep's own rules — daily loss, position sizing, and flat-by-close — so the bot works with the program, not against it. You remain responsible for verifying that automated trading is permitted under your specific program's current terms.
What markets does it trade?
CME micro futures are the home turf: Micro E-mini S&P 500 (MES) and Micro E-mini Nasdaq-100 (MNQ) are the primary markets, with additional micro contracts available as they're validated. Micros keep per-trade risk small and granular — exactly what a scalping strategy with tight ATR stops needs.
Can I stop anytime?
Yes — one click. The kill switch flattens any open position, cancels working orders, and pauses the engine immediately. You can also revoke the API key at your broker for a hard cut-off. There's no contract and no notice period; if you leave, you simply stop generating fees.
How is the 10% calculated?
At the end of each billing period we look at your account's net P&L from ScalpX trades. If your equity set a new all-time high (the high-water mark), you pay 10% of the amount above the previous mark — nothing else.
Example: you're up $1,000 → you pay $100 and your mark moves to +$1,000. Next period you lose $400 → you pay $0. The period after you gain $500 → you pay 10% of only the $100 that exceeds the old mark. Recovered losses are never billed. Paper trading is always free.
Let the rules do the trading.
